Children aren’t an after thought, they’re the main event! Almost half our congregation is under 18, so we’re committed to providing a proper, well thought out and well delivered kids church.
Ignite is split into four age groups:
Babies - preschool
Parents can make use of the creche facility with all sorts of toys, books and games. The creche is unmanned by Ignite team, so you will have to stay with your child, but don’t worry there is a live link from the main service so you won’t miss anything. Don’t feel you have to make use of the creche, but it’s there if the little ones get restless - Dom can go on a bit when he’s preaching.
Reception - Year 2
Getting into the swing of things at this age! Get ready for games, friends and fun - all in the name of building relationships and encouraging one another. It’s not all play and messing around though, there’s still serious bible-releated things to learn here.
Year 3- Year 5
Graduation into Flames is serious business - Terry might not be so soft on you with the dodgeball at this age. Friendships blossom and praying for one another becomes the norm, bible study deepens and understanding grows. Exciting times indeed.
Year 6 - Year 11
Basically adults at this stage - but not quite. Discussion intensifies, theology establishes. Fewer games, more formation. Blaze is the bridge between kids’ church and big people church. Stay here while you can!
