A Strategy To See Newark Restored By God

What is God's vision for Newark?

God's vision for Newark can be expressed in one word: Restoration.

We want to be people after God's own heart, with a strategy that aligns with His vision for our town. That vision is one of restoration. Restoration of families; marriages; health; financial struggle; commerce; and the most important restoration of all - that of the relationship between God and humanity. 

We have a strategy to see:

How?

We believe we're called to focus into 5 key areas

1. Equipping

Establish a monthly worship encounter experience for Christians in Newark, to allow us to collectively lift His name high, and hear from Him as a church, whilst being refilled and refreshed by His Spirit.

2. Youth

Establish a ministry that speaks into the next generation. We're called to speak life and light into a generation that hears darkness and destruction from the world.

3. Presence

In order to share the Good News with 5000 people, we'll need to establish a significant presence in the town. Part of this is by procurement of a building for midweek ministry and activities.

4. Families

Bring the Safe Families organisation into Newark to help to equip and restore families. We'll need to co-ordinate a town-wide effort to secure finance to bring in a much needed service that offers respite and emergency care for struggling families. 

5. Resourcing

We aim to bring together a grant system whereby finance can be applied for to begin new exciting ministries in the areas of outreach, evangelism, and community work. To equip the saints for the work of the ministry.
